Common entrance test
1. BDS (60 seats)
Duration of the course: 5 years plus 6 months internship (optional)
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham university and is in line with the directives of the Medical council of India
Eligibility: Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December 2010 (ii) Pass in 12th standard in the first attempt and with a minimum of marks 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, from any state higher secondary board or equivalent. NRI’s and persons of Indian origin (PIO) who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the association of Indian universities, New Delhi (iii) Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March/April 2010 can also apply

2. MBBS (100 seats)
Duration of the course: Four and half years plus one year compulsory rotatinginternship
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (university) and is in line with the directives of the Medical council of India
Eligibility: Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December 2010 (ii) Pass in 12th standard in the first attempt and with a minimum of marks 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, from any state higher secondary board or equivalent. 3. B.Sc Nursing (50 seats)
Duration of the course: Four years plus one year compulsory rotating internship
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (university) and is in line with the directives of the Indian Nursing council
Eligibility: Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 25 years on or before 31st December 2010 (ii) Pass in 12th standard in the first attempt and with a minimum of marks 50% in English and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, from any state higher secondary board or equivalent. NRI’s and persons of Indian origin (PIO) who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the association of Indian universities, New Delhi

4. M.Sc (17 seats)
Duration of the course: Two years
Specialities: Medical – Surgical nursing, Psychiatric nursing, Pediatric nursing
Common entrance test (M.Sc Nursing): 07th March, 2010
Eligibility: The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife with any state Nursing council (ii) The candidate should have passed BSc Nursing or BSc Hons. Nursing or Post basic BSc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing council (iii) Candidates should be medically fit (iv) Minimum 1 year of work experience after basic BSc Nursing or prior or after Post basic BSc Nursing
Selection: Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
5. B.Pharm (60 seats)
Duration of the course: Four years
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (university) and is in line with the directives of the All India council for technical education (AICTE) and Pharmacy council of India (PCI)
6. B.Pharm (lateral entry) (6 seats)
Duration of the course: Three years
Curriculum: As approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (university) and is in line with the directives of the All India council for technical education (AICTE) and Pharmacy council of India (PCI)
Eligibility: It is 4 years course going to the semester system with 2010 admission onwards. Selection is based on the rank obtained in All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
Date of birth: Age shall not exceed 25 as on 31.12.2010
Qualifications: Should have passed D.Pharm examination from a recognized institution

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed B.Pharm from an institution approved by Pharmacy council of India (PCI) with at least 50% of the maximum marks for all the subjects of the B.Pharm course from second year to fourth year examinations shall be eligible for admission to the Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) course. Preference is given to GATE scorers (ii) Common entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The rank list will be prepared on the basis of CET
