Admission for 2009-10

The College offers the following courses.

• B.Sc. - Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Plant Biology & Plant Biotechnology / Advance Zoology & Biotechnology / Computer Science.
• B.Com. - General/Corporate Secretaryship
• M.A. - Arabic/Economics/Tamil/English Literature
• M.Sc. - Chemistry /Zoology
• M.Com.
• M.Phil. - English/Tamil/Arabic/Economics/Commerce/Chemistry/ Zoology.
• Ph.D. - Arabic / Tamil / Commerce / Economics / Chemistry / Zoology.

(For M.Phil and Ph.D., Madras University notification is to be followed. Admissions open to Women students also in M.Phil and Ph.D., courses).

SELF FINANCING : (Timings 2.30 P.M. to 6.55 P.M)

• B.Com General / Corporate Secretaryship /Bank Management
• B.B.A. Business Administration
• B.Sc. Computer Science / Visual Communication /Information Systems and Management.
• B.C.A. Computer Application
• M.A. Historical Studies
• M.Sc.Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology.

The Application form with prospectus will be available at the College Office from 11-05-2009 on all working days from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. and from 2.30 P.M. to 4.30 P.M. The cost of each application form is Rs.100/- (inclusive of registration charge).
The Application form can also be obtained by Registered Post on remittance of Rs.125/-through Bank Draft drawn in favour of The New College, Chennai-14.
For M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Information Technology and M.Sc. Biotechnology / the cost of each application form is Rs. 250/-(Rs. 275/- by Post).
For obtaining application forms by Post, the following details should be clearly furnished - Major subject, PG or UG, Aided (or) Self Financing.
